Wednesday Evening Aquathlons - Race 3 | GoTri - 400M/5K

It is suitable to set first time PB's, training for mass start swims at a larger event or completing a 1st open water swim. The run is either 2.5k or 5k however if you want to run a shorter distance or a colleague to do the run just tell us. We welcome GoTri beginner options 200m, 400m, with Run 2.5 or 5km and happy to discuss this with you to allow entrants to develop their confidence on a shorter circuit in preparation to enter other events. It is advisable to have had an induction at an open water venue and please ensure you read the section in the race pack about open water swimming. The swim is in Leybourne's large Ocean Lake entry from a jetty into shallow water so you can acclimatise to the water temperature. The run course is on a hard packed trail around the lake within a Green Flag Award country park which is also used for Park Run.
