Itinerary

  • Day 1 | Arrival in Marrakech

    Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to your charming riad in the heart of the city. Take the evening to explore the bustling medina, wander through the vibrant souks, or relax with a mint tea on the rooftop terrace. This is the perfect introduction to the culture and energy of Marrakech. 

  • Day 2 | Explore Marrakech

    Start the day with a guided bicycle tour through Marrakech, exploring both the modern district of Gueliz and the winding streets of the Medina. In the afternoon, head to the Amal Women’s Training Center for a hands-on cooking class. Learn to prepare classic Moroccan dishes like tagines and pastilla, then enjoy your creations for dinner. It’s a day of discovery and delicious food. 

  • Day 3 | Begin the trek to Tacheddirt

    After breakfast, transfer to the mountain village of Imlil (1,740m) where your trek begins. Hike over the Tizi ‘n Tamatert Pass (2,279m), passing through traditional Berber villages and enjoying stunning views of the surrounding peaks. After about 4 hours of walking, you’ll arrive at your campsite near Tacheddirt (2,300m), nestled by a tranquil river. 

  • Day 4 | Tacheddirt to Azib Likemt

    Today’s trek is challenging but rewarding as you ascend to Tizi Likemt (3,555m), one of the highest passes on the route. The climb is steady, with breathtaking views at the top. From there, descend to Azib Likemt (2,200m), a remote village surrounded by rugged beauty. After about 5 hours of trekking, settle in for the night at a rustic campsite. 

  • Day 5 | Azib Likemt to Amsouzert

    Trek through varied landscapes today, crossing Tizi ‘n Ououraine (3,120m) with its incredible views of the Toubkal Massif. Descend to the charming village of Amsouzert (1,700m), one of the most picturesque spots in the region. After around 6 hours of hiking, enjoy a traditional dinner and the warm hospitality of a basic gite. 

  • Day 6 | Amsouzert to Ifni Lake

    A shorter trek today takes you to the serene Ifni Lake (2,300m), the only lake in the Toubkal Massif. The 4-hour hike offers a chance to slow down and take in the stunning surroundings. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the lake, with its turquoise waters reflecting the dramatic peaks around you. Camp under the stars in this magical setting. 

  • Day 7 | Ifni Lake to Nelthner Refuge

    Brace yourself for a challenging day as you ascend steep scree slopes to Tizi n’Ouanoums (3,664m). From the top, descend to Nelthner Refuge (3,200m), your base for the summit attempt. This 6-hour trek tests your endurance but rewards you with incredible views and a sense of accomplishment. 

  • Day 8 | Summit Jebel Toubkal and return to Imlil

    Summit day begins early with a 2-3 hour climb to the top of Mount Toubkal (4,167m). Reaching the summit at sunrise is an unforgettable experience, with panoramic views stretching across the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert. After celebrating your achievement, descend back to Imlil for a well-deserved rest and transfer to Marrakech. 

  • Day 9 | Transfer to Essaouira

    Leave the mountains behind and head to the coastal town of Essaouira. This laid-back destination is perfect for unwinding after your trek. Stroll along the beach, explore the old medina, and enjoy the fresh sea air. 

  • Day 10 | Free day in Essaouira

    Take a full day to relax in Essaouira. Whether you choose to wander the vibrant souks, enjoy fresh seafood by the harbour, or simply relax on the beach, the day is yours to recharge and reflect on your adventure. 

  • Day 11 | Return to Marrakech

    Transfer back to Marrakech for your final night in Morocco. Spend your evening revisiting the city’s highlights, shopping for last-minute souvenirs, or enjoying a final mint tea as the sun sets over Jemaa el-Fna. 

  • Day 12 | Departure from Marrakech

    After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your flight home. Reflect on the incredible landscapes, cultural experiences, and the unforgettable achievement of summiting Mount Toubkal. Safe travels!
