Overview

Newcastle (Staffs) Athletic Club prides itself on providing opportunities for all runners to thrive whatever their level or goals.  From beginners taking on one of their Couch to 5K programmes through to training sessions open to all, there are opportunities to be coached or run socially. Training groups always run together and routes contain smaller and longer loops to cater for all runners.

Juniors are welcome from 8 years old with a clear pathway provided for each athlete to develop and coaching in all aspects of athletics including throwing, jumping and running. Children are encouraged to compete whatever their level in local leagues including Heart Of England Track and Field League, North Staffs Cross Country League, Midlands and National Road Relays and through to National level competitions.

The Club has use of a newly refurbished track with floodlights.  Facilities include a clubhouse with a cafe and members are encouraged to stay after training to meet other members and share experiences.  Social events including Christmas and Summer parties are also arranged.
