Overview

Among our activities are club rides, youth sessions, road racing, track racing, time-trials, cyclo-cross, sportives, audax, the occasional bit of off-road cycling, plus training sessions including turbo, chain-gangs and virtual rides. We also organise social events throughout the year.

In addition, we sponsor the very successful Verulam Reallymoving.com Racing Team as well as organising our own events such as the Verulam Reliability Ride, Verulam Open 25 time trial and the Redbourn Fete de Velo, and additionally help organise the Welwyn Track League.

Club runs take place every Sunday typically with around 50 riders split across ten different pace groups. There is always a planned coffee stop at approximately at the half-way point, before heading back to St Albans. Please note that it is our club policy to meet up and brief all new riders, whatever their experience and ability level, before riding with us on our Sunday Club runs.
