Event overview

Welcome to another successful year of the ATW Odyssey Aquabike event!

Brought to you by the largest multi-sports organiser in the UK.

The ATW Odyssey is more than just a full and middle distance aquabike. It is a journey of self-discovery, through swimming and cycling, taking place in the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside.

event

The Odyssey Full Aquabike is an epic challenge to complete a 3.8km swim in the meandering river Ouse followed by a 180km cycle around the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside. Along the way you will overcome both physical and psychological challenges that you have never previously experienced and once completed, you will stand tall in the knowledge that you have completed your own personal Odyssey.

You can now take on the brand new Odyssey Half Distance Aquabike event which is a 1.9km swim followed by a 90km cycle. There is no better place to take on this challenge than the stunning scenic town of St Neots.

The Odyssey course is the ultimate in spectator-athlete experiences with multiple opportunities to cheer on the athletes in each of the disciplines, including a central point on the bike course where there will be entertainment and hospitality available for supporters. When you have finished you can join the after-party in the ‘Tent of Enlightenment’ to cheer on the triathletes as they complete their final discipline.

Loved the Odyssey. Great atmosphere throughout. Loved the bike route which involved 2 laps with out and back sections allowing you to see how you were doing against others. Would recommend! Lem L

Brilliantly organised event. Marshals we’re fab and the run course was lovely and scenic but most importantly flat 😊 The party tent also a great idea and really gave me thay much needed boost when running through it each lap. Danielle H

Fantastically organised and very supportive staff and crew, excellent event. Dan P

I've been competing in triathlons/Duathlon/aqua bike since 1987 and this event is up with the best. From easy parking at 8.30 am to going home at 10.30pm. Superb organisation to fantastic, friendly staff and the goody bag is worth coming back for next year. My two sons and I loved competing and my wife supported us for 14hrs and loved it. Well done ATW. Ron W

Absolutely loved this event! So easy to book and the pre race info was great. It was a really nice route and everyone was so incredibly supportive. Massive shout out to the organisers and marshals ❀️ you were fantastic and really helped me keep pushing myself. Looking through all the photos today has been emotional, fantastic memories & new friends made. See you all soon. Emma M
