The modern and welcoming Royal Oak Hotel in the heart of Betws-y-coed centre supports this trail running event and has top reviews for great quality rooms, food, drinks, bar and sociable outside seating (even in autumn!). Check out its selection of accolades and recommendations.
Starting and finishing in the beautiful village of Betws-y-coed - the Gateway to Snowdonia - the spectacular 10K course takes you through the gorgeous Gwydir Forest and up to Llyn Elsi where you can enjoy beautiful views over the lake and surrounding area and a feed station too. The route offers a genuine challenge for trail lovers.
There are no cut off times however marshalls will stand down at 15:00.
In line with the event's desire to be as sustainable as possible, medals will not be given at the finish line, rather a finishers memento that is useful and/or reusable is awarded.
Run Trail Betws in style - race hoodies can be added to your order when entering, pre-ordered here without entering, and there will be a few available for sale on the day at Race HQ. Alongside these, there will also be a selection of Mucky Merch available to order online and samples to try on. This year's racewear colour is navy.
