Black Rat Cyclosportive

Black Rat Cycling is delighted to announce that we will be partnered in the 2024 edition of the Sportive by Portishead Cycling Club (PCC). PCC have helped us out for several years by providing marshals and feed station staff. For 2024, we are taking our partnership to the next level where PCC members will have input into the set up and running of the event. This will be a massive help to us because with more people helping out, we can put on a much better event for you. We have come up with three cracking routes for our next sportive, taking you over the Severn Bridge and deep into the Monmouthshire (and a bit of Powys) countryside. The Granfondo route takes you up to Gospel Pass, the highest road in Wales. Mediofondo riders get to ride on the beautiful and quiet roads around Monmouthshire. Piccolofondo riders will enjoy the lovely lanes around the Wye Valley and Monmouth before climbing back up to the top of the Wye Valley.
