The ultimate test.
The classic Born Survivor 10km challenge is the stuff of legend! This epic stretch of stunning terrain is packed with 30 obstacle challenges to put you and your team through your paces as you run, crawl, leap and haul yourselves through each task.
Make it to the finish and you can bask in your glory at the buzzing event village. This is the epic challenge you have been searching for.
Leave no one behind as you work together to complete this epic journey! This is the Military way and the Born Survivor ethos. Buddies stick together….especially in our mud!
If you dare take on this adventure you’ll need a stiff upper lip to conquer the challenge alone. Teamwork is encouraged and even if you don’t enter as a team you’ll assist your fellow Survivors in completing the course. But it’s not a race; it’s designed as a challenge for everyone over the age of 16 to tackle at their pace, whatever their ability.
We took it at our own pace, and just had fun, the sense of achievement is like nothing else I've experienced.
Spectators are welcome to explore the family-friendly courses and take in the special vibe that is Born Survivor. They can chill out in the buzzing Born Survivor event village before cheering you on as you tackle the epic course finale…The Blitz!
Kids will love seeing you covered in mud and tackling the obstacles. There will also be a kids’ obstacle course.
Spectators can enjoy our family-friendly event, experiencing the Born Survivor atmosphere, cheering at The Blitz finale, and capturing great photos. Features include quality food and drink, Born Survivor Bar, changing areas, bag drop, kit vendors, nearby parking, coach parking options, professional medical and radio support, and excellent spectator access.

This unique course demands adaptability! Brace for surprises across tens of obstacles: epic slides, huge A-Frames, ice baths, river fords, mud pits, high agility tests, crawl trenches, submerged tunnels, mighty walls, and the iconic Blitz Wall. Ready up, Soldier!
The ES the first wave of the day and you will attack a prestine clear course. No waiting around, this is about moving as fast as you can, beating the obstacles and sprinting in-between. It’s called the Elite Squadron for a reason.
There won’t be any disputes over who was the fastest with our state of the art chip timing.

There are no time penalties at Born Survivor. Each obstacle must be successfully completed (unlimited obstacle attempts are allowed) in order to take 1st , 2nd or 3rd place in the Elite Squadron….The Clue is in the name, can you rise to the challenge?
Our Capesthrorne Hall Cheshire venue is an official race within the UKOCR league and will count towards your points/entry into the European Championships. (Please check with UKOCR for more details).You’ve gotta be in it to win it…The UKOCR Race Series has a bounty of £1500 offered to the winners & runners up.

You can select your preferred wave start time. For safety and numbers per start wave your start time may be adjusted slightly. You will be informed of your final wave start time 1 week in advance of the event.

I have taken part in both Born Survivors... Both events were well organised, all staff were friendly and helpful. The courses were fantastic, lots of mud, water, challenging obstacles!!!
