Brechfa Trail Races: Half Marathon & Marathon

It's incredible there is something so vast just 90 minutes from Cardiff. It's easy to be overwhelmed by the size of the place but, fortunately for us, Natural Resources Wales have created some gorgeous routes with open panoramic views, quiet and serene pine forests and waterfall laden deciduous woods. A 13 mile loop allows you to choose one, or two laps. This is a perfect race as either your A race for a fast trail race or as a part of your training for another race. The benefit of laps for the latter is that you can practice fuelling, carrying your equipment and have some company for those long training runs.
