The Innovation Centre, just off the A5.
The parking charge is £3.00 but this allows you to park onsite for the whole day.
The Innovation Centre is located just off the A5 and is signposted onto Pool Road. Do not try and enter the park via the A5195 as this route is a single lane track blocked by a barrier at the end, which we do not have access to and turning is extremely difficult!
The nearest railway station is located at Cannock, but you will then need to get a taxi to the event.
The race will start just outside the Innovation Centre and after a short loop around the centre, runners will head clockwise around the reservoir and cover two laps for 10K and one lap for the 5K race. Due to the multi terrain nature of the event, we are unable to get a certificate of course accuracy, but the route is as close to the distance that GPS technology will allow.
This event is doing its best to work sustainably to ensure that the carbon footprint of the race is kept as low as possible.

Absolutely loved this race. Two laps of Chasewater, no navigation needed so the marshals just cheered you on. Everyone in silly Christmas hats (or more) and a fast time is there should you wish. Bit of mud, but that made it all the better. Really cracking event. Mark L
A great 10K event (5K also available) on a course that has some track and tarmac, good for PB and a great medal at the end with a pudding and mince pie. The route is well marshalled and supported a great event for all. Chris B
Great event....plenty dressed in festive outfits...can’t pretend a Christmas pudding over taking you is much fun tho :-/ people running with speakers playing some Christmas classics.... good fun round, I’m glad I did it. Martin N
Fantastic race with a beautiful view on the run everyone really friendly. Tom G
5K in beautiful Chasewater where mixed terrain is the game! Easy registration, great parking and the marshals are ace. Very muddy and in places a bit icy but that's to be expected on a Christmas run! No t shirt (you can buy one if wanted) but an amazing medal, mince pie, water and the all important Christmas pudding await you at the end. All in all I recommend this as the perfect run to get you in the christmas spirit! Angela S
This is a very friendly affair with plenty of people dressing up for the occasion. It's just one loop of the lake for the 5K and a quick time can be achieved. Ryan B
