Race through narrow, cobbled streets, alongside the River Wear and past Durham's historic cathedral, the backdrop for all of the races in this midsummer celebration of running!
4 races
Event overview
Explore medieval streets as you join friends and family in a race through the historic city of Durham.
Both the 5K and 10K races take place on Friday evening, with the cool summer evening air helping you to tackle the city's hilly streets. Starting in the city centre, the route for both distances passes Durham's historic landmarks, including its 900-year-old cathedral, to finish at Millennium Palace. The following day, families of all ages run together in the Families on Track race, after which runners of all abilities are invited to take on the Run Like a Legend Mile, testing their pace on this stunning route.
From competitive races and speedy time trials to relaxed runs as a family, this midsummer festival of running has something for everyone - including a buzzing event village!
