The race was conceived with the joint purpose of staging a well-organised run for serious runners and beginners alike and raising money for local charities. We're very proud that, as ever, 100% of the proceeds of the run go to charity. This race starts and finishes on the UWE Glenside Campus, Blackberry Hill, Fishponds, Bristol. The course is scenic and undulating and comprises of a circuit of the grounds followed by the exit onto Blackberry Hill. At the bottom of the hill the route continues through Oldbury Court, onto Gill Avenue. The route then goes down Frenchay Road to Frenchay Bridge, up to Frenchay common, along Frenchay Park Road and into Broom Hill before returning to the UWE grounds for the finish.
