Two challenging trail races both starting from Bollington. Don’t expect a PB for distance on these courses!
The Happy Valley Trails event was established in 2022 as a running event in the hills and valleys surrounding Bollington. Locally the event has started to build a reputation for being at the more arduous end of the difficulty spectrum. Make it your next challenge! Half Marathon Route - Approx. 770m total ascent over White Nancy, Kerridge and Sponds Hill. Mixture of farmland, rocky descents and beautiful woodland. Two aid stations on course. 10k Route - Same start and end as the half marathon. 390m of total ascent including White Nancy and Kerridge ridge. One aid station on course.
