2025 fees, fundraising targets and cycle routes to be confirmed.
The wonderful Honeypot charity has teamed up with pie events to bring a brand new guided cycling challenge to the UK!
In August 2024, an amazing group of cyclists and one very brave cat took on the mighty challenge of raising funds and cycling 225 miles over 3 days from Honeypot House in the New Forest to Honeypot Pen y Bryn in Powys.
The event was a resounding success, and we are planning to go bigger and better in 2025 with a longer House to House route and even more participants!
The 2025 route will be 475 miles over 8 days travelling from Honeypot Dalleagles in New Cumnock to Honeypot House in the New Forest.
There will also be the following one-day options for those preferring a shorter distance:
Participants will pay an entry fee to help cover the cost of accommodation, food, and support services, and pledge to fundraise a minimum amount in sponsorship to fund our respite services for young carers.
Combine your love of cycling with helping some of the most disadvantaged children in the UK.
Some of the young carers Honeypot supports care for over 50 hours a week for a disabled or unwell parent or sibling.
2025 fees, fundraising targets and cycle routes to be confirmed.
The ride has been designed for most standards of cyclists (except complete beginners).
Check the daily distances and elevations to make sure you are happy with your level of fitness vs the challenge above, and then start some training to minimise the gap! A training plan and guide are available.
A sweeper vehicle will pick up any slower riders who would rather catch a lift to the next hotel. There are no cut-offs, you'll still be able to ride the next day and no one would be asked to leave the challenge based on speed. The team will help you to the finish line.
This unique route has been designed specifically for The Honeypot Children's Charity to ensure an amazing ride between their two centres!
The ride is guided on a 1:8-10 ratio. Ex-Olympians, Commonwealth competitors, and keen amateurs all work for pie. They are all passionate about this ride.
Stunning scenery, challenging ascents, incredible descents, perfect hotels, great food, like-minded company.
You’ll find the same high standards and amazing crew on this UK challenge as at the top of Mont Ventoux.
Pie is known for efficiency, integrity, and passion to get it right. From your first contact this experience will be as awesome as possible.
Guided rides, support vehicles, medics, mechanics, daily route options, great food, fabulous pit stops, post ride treats, and more, are all included.
Corporate teams are booking in for 2025!
Corporate teams will benefit from a ready-made charity challenge riding in groups of 8-10 to help meet CSR targets, encourage team building and improve physical and mental well being in the workplace.
You can have a joint fundraising target and joint fundraising page so that the experience starts now.
Teams will wear matching cycling jerseys, regroup regularly and will cross the finish line together! Cameras at the ready as this is great PR.

There is no doubt we could not have done it without PIE. You, Tina, Paul, Aiden, Dave, James, Jonathan, Roger, and not forgetting Ben have been fantastic. Firstly by organising the trip we wanted in a way that worked for us, the professionalism of your team and the fantastic way they kept us on track and motivated. Wendy E, Paris to Amsterdam
I've been lucky enough to ride on four or five events organised and run by Tina and the team at PIE. They have always been brilliantly organised, and they achieve a great blend of managing to marshall a bunch of riders of very different ability, whilst keeping a great sense of humour and making it fun for everyone. The cycling guides are fantastic. Chairman of Morrisons & Chairman of N. Brown plc
I just wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you and the rest of the team for a great trip. Ian, Steve and Baggy were great company, ran a great event and all of the participants were extremely happy, even some drenching on the final day did not seem to lower their spirits when they reached the finish line. Steve Lindsay, Challenge Events Executive, CARE International UK
Tina and her team have faultlessly led 10 trips. It is a magical combination of impeccable organisation, appropriate care for safety, health and having fun. To return to the same supplier 10 years in a row has to say something about the quality of the service. Tesco Main Board
