Event overview
The Leeds 10K was Jane Tomlinson’s vision.
Having raised £1.8 million for charity while she was battling terminal cancer, in 2006 Jane knew her time left to fundraise was limited. As a result, she decided to set up the Leeds 10K to continue the fundraising vehicle for charities that she had started.
Over the last 15 years the Leeds 10K has grown to become one of the highlights of the city’s events calendar, and is a hugely popular, inclusive and supported race for participants of all abilities.
In many ways, the Leeds 10K captures the can-do, inspirational spirit of its founder.
Throughout the route that takes in many of the city’s historic landmarks, crowds come out in force. A fantastic atmosphere and friendly volunteers make the event unforgettable for all.
Whether you’re running for a PB, fundraising for a cause close to your heart, or simply aiming to get round and enjoy the day, this is the event for you.

Team Challenge
The Leeds 10K Team Challenge brings teams together from businesses across the region to enjoy some competitive spirit amongst the thousands of participants taking part in one of Leeds’ biggest runs.
Sitting alongside the main event of the day, the Team Challenge will see teams of all sizes and varieties battle it out to be crowned Team Challenge champions. Rather than competing as individuals, participants will work collectively to cross the line in the quickest combined time.

Team photo
Your package also includes a digital team photo. Once we’ve captured your team’s pre-race enthusiasm, we’ll send you a link post-event – making for a great social post to celebrate your team's fantastic efforts.

Not only will all team members receive their finisher’s goody bag (including all sorts of treats, your finisher’s t-shirt and your race medal), but the winning teams will also be recognised and presented with their own award for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
