Event overview

For those who have previously taken part, there will be some tweaks to the courses to support the growth in numbers and the slightly refreshed courses will be shared next year. In addition, a new half marathon course may be launched too. Unfortunately, the Luton Hoo course cannot be used as the estate is undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme.

Rest assured, the races will start and finish in the town centre, and the courses will take you through award-winning parks and on a traffic-free, closed roads, ensuring a safe and enjoyable running experience.

All participants will receive a souvenir medal, and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for males and females in all races. The Danny McCormack Memorial Young Person’s trophy will also return next time.

New for this year is a brand new Love Luton Runfest event t-shirt!

With the overwhelming demand in 2024, you are urged to secure your spot at the Runfest as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this exciting event.

Was nervous at first as it was my first time taking part! But when I got there and saw the atmosphere, I was excited! The amount of people all up for the same thing, the stage announcements, music, free drinks and snacks and the organisation of it was amazing with signage and barriers in the right places. It all ran smoothly. Marshals were brilliant in keeping us safe and on the right route and encouraging us throughout. Loved it!! Can't wait to do more!! Jasminara C
