The event will be held on Good Friday in 2025. This is a fast, flat course and has excellent PB potential (total ascent of only 70 metres). The route is fully marshalled and is on mixture of closed roads and pavements. We will also be running an Easter Mile race for children in school years 5 – 8 and an Easter Half Mile race for children in school years reception – 4 on fully closed roads. The Maidenhead Easter 10 is open to anyone aged 17 or over on race day. There is no maximum age. We have a cut off time of 2h30. We are working to make the 70th running of this race an environmentally friendly race. Every participant will receive a special 70th anniversary medal at the finish. THE WEARING OF HEADPHONES IS BANNED AT THE MAIDENHEAD EASTER 10 (including bone conducting headphones). You will be disqualified by the race referee if you are seen wearing headphones during the race. The race is licensed by UK Athletics; the race licence number is #28790. The event is run under UKA Rules of Competition. The race rules can be found here: https://www.uka.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/UKA-Rulebook_2024.pdf.
