'Piece of String' refers to the distance and route. You will not know until the event unfolds. You will be told when there is 1km to go to the finish!

All you need to do is turn up for a great Easter run out, on the region's most popular hill, and you can be sure of the following:

Highlights

The route will be between 6 and 12 kilometers in length
It will be well-marked and marshalled
There'll be some hills
You will get a chocolate treat (it is Easter after all) and a medal at the finish to reward you for your efforts
There will be some racing going on from some of you, but the emphasis will be on a fun, friendly and inclusive event atmosphere
All abilities welcome!
