Mortimer Forest Trail Race | Short Course

It is a 10 mile-ish multi terrain race set in the beautiful Mortimer Forest on the Herefordshire/Shropshire border. A challenging course held in the depths of winter, it includes the infamous Big Dippers, but after a stiff climb up to the top of High Vinnalls you are treated to a wonderful downhill finish, with views across the Welsh Marches, as far as the Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons. Expect mud, hills and wonderful trails. A shorter 4 mile course omits the Big Dippers and sticks to larger tracks, but still includes a trip up High Vinnalls with its far reaching views and cracking descent. The course will be marshalled and signed.
