Newbury Athletic Club is are excited to announce the return of the Newbury 10k in 2023 ‒ the 13th staging of this popular event and the first since 2019.

We warmly welcome entries from runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes, and the 10k will be preceded by two junior races. All three courses remain unchanged from previous years. After starting in the centre of the town, the 10k begins with a gentle climb for the first 3km. This is followed by a short descent and then the rest of the course is flat. Approximately 7km is on the road, with the remainder of the run taking place on footpaths in beautiful surrounding countryside and along the tow path of the Kennet and Avon Canal. The two junior races for under 16s will take place on closed roads in the town centre.
