Wild Deer Events are teaming up with our friends at Events up North/Timing up North to bring you the North Lakes Half Marathon & 10KM on the ROADS in the outstanding Lorton Valley in 2025!
This popular, established event has had a breather in 2024 and we aim to bring it back even stronger in 2025. There will be improved routes starting and finishing in Cockermouth Town Centre, taking in this wonderful part of the Lakes. Most of the routes are on the quite country lanes through the stunning Lorton Valley with epic views across to the Lakes. There will also be a fantastic Town Centre Finish where spectators can watch you across that finish line. Due to road closures, there is a cut off time of 3 hours for the half marathon. All finishers will get a Medal, Merchandise, snack & drink. There is the option to purchase an Event T-Shirt for £12 when you sign up. The event has LIVE chip-timing with Timing Up North. There is ample parking in Cockermouth Town Centre.
