Swim

The swim is a very simple route. Starting at the boat house end of the lake you will swim straight down the lake past the Tower where you’ll then make a left turn to swim straight across the lake before making a 2nd left turn to swim straight back to exit the lake under the Swim Exit Gantry. It looks further than it is!

Bike

The bike course is flat and as fast as you want it to be. Keeping the lake on your left as you head to the top of the lake to taking 2 left bends, the 2nd a little tighter than the 1st, before heading straight back up the lake to exit the venue onto the course that takes you round the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside in a loop before returning to site to finish your race. Once finished you can then take a walk/run, in your own time, down the famous orange carpet to collect your medal and t-shirt.

Superb event! Can’t recommend it enough! The whole race, the support crew, the hard work behind the scenes just outstanding! The guy with the beard over on the rapids marshalling you made my run!!!! First race in two years. Fabulous event, great layout for novice and experienced triathletes. Mark B

Just the most amazing experience. A huge challenge for me, but the endless positivity from the volunteer crew was second to none. It's a stunning course and so glad I selected it for my first 70.1. Thank you all so much. Trevor G
