Bikes

Bike type

Road, hybrid or e-bikes.

If you’re bringing your own bike along to the event we recommend either a road or hybrid bike.

Being an on-road route, mountain bikes wouldn’t be our first recommendation; however, if this is what you’ve trained on and you feel confident on it, we’re happy for you to use one. The range of gears may help you with some of the hills.

E-bikes

Teams using E-bikes would be excluded from the Fastest Finishers Awards to make this fair to other teams.

Bike hire

There's a bike hire service which includes:

  • Two day hire (Friday and Saturday)
  • Helmet
  • Bike delivery and collection
  • Support with any adjustments to the bike at registration
  • Secure storage overnight
  • Bike mechanic service throughout event day

  • Accommodation
  • Bag storage

Such a great day led by a great team! Vici B – 2024 participant

Taking on the personal challenge was great, doing these three activities back to back was a mental and physical challenge – but hugely rewarding. It's a great way to push yourself whilst also raising money for such an important cause. James C – 2024 participant

It is a privilege to be able to take part in this event. The charity are incredible. It’s a tough challenge, but a very enjoyable day! Katie G – 2024 participant

Having the relationship with the MDUK event team is great and it’s nice to see them whenever we take on one of their events. We love the Pedal Paddle Peak challenge itself  (we’ve done both the Lake District and Snowdon now) and the camaraderie of all taking part too. Definitely coming back to take on PPP again. Lee G – 2024 participant

What an amazing experience, made even better by supporting a great cause. Nick B –2024 participant
