Race The Light | ERME & HAMS Half Marathon

The original Race The Light Classic – 8.5 miles of shadowy estuarine trails, meandering through the privately owned Flete Estate. There’s a double crossing of the River Erme estuary so it’s a race against the light.. and the tide. So wet feet from the off! The race starts at the bottom of the slipway on Coastguards Beach, and finishes with a mighty uphill climb to the SchoolhouseDevon restaurant, high above the water. Each finisher will receive a bespoke Race The Light medal. Back for a second time.. Race The Light –  ERME & HAMS Half Marathon – Taking in the Classic route with an extra 5 miles thrown in for good measure, including some sublime South Hams SWCP running back to the Erme estuary. But beware. You have to get to the final crossing within 3 hours – or it’s a swim across!
