What an epic day! I really, really enjoyed it even the driving rain and howling wind! Race start was seamless and a beautiful setting to inspire us as we set off. It was an ideal ultra for a novice who didn’t really know what they were doing! Great chats on the way round with fellow runners and cheery marshals and well stocked aid stations. Would recommend. Thanks for the ice-cream , despite the torrential rain it didn’t touch the sides! Jo

Really enjoyed the race, I did it last year in very different conditions and the marshalls and aid stations were spectacular both times. Cara

Another great event from Ultra Violet, the hills in the second half and the views are epic.. Top organisation and marshals as always. We'll be back. Nina Y

What a cracking event! I ran their Bournemouth event last year, which was epic, and this one delivered too.. the route, medal, ice cream and goodie bag were all great. Running L

The course is very enjoyable, certainly the second half is way more challenging than the first half but also more rewarding. Roberto G

The marshalling was outstanding - we paid to run in the driving rain, wind and hail, but their volunteering in the pouring rain was just outstanding. Tough but beautiful. Good value for money. Lisa H

This was my second time of completing this very scenic ultra. What a difference to last year’s beautiful weather. The weather didn’t dampen my spirit to finish this challenge. A big thank you to all the Marshalls on route and at the checkpoints you were so encouraging. Janine H

Very good scenic route. The marshalls and volunteers were amazing. The finish at the sea front in Brighton was spectacular. Roy P
