What a lovely event. Mark R

This was my favourite race the entire year! Beautiful views, fab start in the main town, parking was easy, toilets perfect. Marshals were excellent, stations were great! Excellent race and route!! Love it! Sarah I

Truly wonderful 30k run across the East Sussex countryside. The Rye town cryer starts the race from the historic centre of Rye and out across fields, woods and forest with some fantastic scenery and challenging terrain. Highly Recommended. Tim I

This was a great new run and I thoroughly enjoyed it . I mainly ran on my own but there were plenty of friendly and encouraging Marshall’s all along the way. I loved the cheeky support boards that made me laugh I approached them. I felt like everyone had fun. I would definitely like to do this again sometime and would encourage others to join me. 15k?? Nearer 16k!! Thank you Nice - Work and Rye runners! Eve E

This has got to be the best run I have ever done. It was the most scenic, beautiful and interesting run ever. Nice Work are just amazing, so friendly and the Marshall were tops. I would definitely be back with friends if it is run next year - I would be devasted not to run this again. The only low star was local support but it just wasn't that type of race/course. I could gush about this race forever - I LOVED IT!!!!!! Fay O

A race with great personality – the countdown was conducted by the town cryer – and a picturesque route. The marshals were excellent and the atmosphere friendly. There are some tough hills to conquer, but that's all part of the fun, isn't it? Rye also has plenty of post-race food options... Rick P
