This was the first 10K I had done and found it brilliant particularly the great atmosphere around the whole route. Well organised from start to finish.
A great day out, well marked out course and a fantastic race atmosphere to boot. The course itself is pretty flat and has a few up and downhill loops which will keep you on your toes. There's quite a few hairpin turns on this one, though I found them to be quite fun to navigate personally - depends whether it's your thing or not!
With over 7,000 people taking to the streets of London to take part in the ASICS London 10k it certainly was a great party race vibe atmosphere event. Held on all closed roads and starting at Piccadilly it takes in a lot of the major roads in the West End! It’s rare you can say you ran along Piccadilly, Regent Street and along Pail Mail, before passing Trafalgar Square!
