Event overview

Challenge yourself to an ultra over the impressive Sidlaw Mountain Range by Perthshire, eastern Scotland, not far from St Andrews and Dundee.

Following a successful inaugural event, the Sidlaw Ultra is back for another storming year!

The route is super-friendly and all runners from all backgrounds and all genders are welcome. You can run as Male, Female or Non-Binary and you are welcome to sign up and run as the gender of your choice.

Bus transfer

There is a bus to the start included in your entry fee.

The bus will pick runners up from Scone Palace at 6am and transport you to Glamis Castle for registration (7am) and the start at 8am. Spectators are welcome to park at Glamis Castle to see you off - but please note Glamis is a residential castle so noise must be kept to a minimum. 

Spectators

There are a few great spectator spots or they can hang out in cafe at Scone Palace watching your 'dot' as you complete this epic wintery ultra! Cafe closes at 4pm.

There's a Christmas Market at Glamis Castle so your spectators can even do their Christmas shopping while you run!
