The Tavy 5k (formerly known as the 5Kool Run) is held monthly.

It takes place from Tavistock College on safe, tarmac footpaths on the 3rd Saturday of the month. The officially measured course is a fast and flat around the college grounds and in The Meadows park, costing just £2 to enter for unaffiliated runners and only £1 for affiliated runners. There is free car parking at the college.
