How it works

  • Enter individually

    Simply enter the 5K or 10K event as an individual.

  • Enter a team of 2 into the team 10K relay

    Each participant runs 5K. Only one person registers the team. Teams can be made up of any gender.

  • Fastest teams

    Company placings for fastest teams require minimum of 4 people from any one company in order to show in the team results.

Timetable

  • 17:15 | Arrive at this time to collect race pack etc.
  • 17:55 | Mass warm up - there will be some funky tunes played to get you all in the spirit.
  • 18:00 | The individual run kicks off.
  • 18:05 | The team relay kicks off.

Dogs

Running with your dog.

Dogs are welcome to run with their owners! Please ensure your dog is on a short lead/harness and that you are careful on the course and respect other runners and park users.

Event hub

The event hub is located within Crown Gate West off Grove Road. Once in park via this access the event hub is on the right about 200m to the right. The team will be there to guide you.

Please take care when running around the course as this is public land and local residents will be out and about. Please always stay on the left unless otherwise guided. Enjoy this great run around Victoria Park.

By car

There is no carparking in Victoria Park so if driving please plan ahead where you will park.

By rail

Nearest underground station: Mile End. Plan your journey to Mile End Station.

Nearest rail stations: Cambridge Heath/Hackney Wick Station.

From Mile End Station, turn left and cross over Mile End Road. Turn right onto Grove Road – it’s about 10-15 minutes walk straight down. Alternatively, you can also walk most of the way through Mile End Park, which runs parallel to Grove Road. You will first arrive at the Crown Gates.

The run route is 2 laps of Victoria Park for the 5K. The first lap is the longer section around 3km and the second lap is the smaller section of 2km. The run route is on hard path and is a flat course.

A flat 5k in a nice London park, Easy course and well shaded under the tree's. Lots of water and clean toilets at head, MC was good and gave good info at the start. Medal is pretty cool. Luke S
