Running with your dog/canicross
Dogs are welcome to run with their owners! Please ensure your dog is on a short lead/harness and that you are careful on the course and respect other runners and park users.
The course is wheelchair friendly - just note the one section that is on trail.

Parking is very limited so travelling with family or friends or leaving the car at home is recommended. From the M62 – at the Liverpool end of the M62 follow the A5058 inner ring road (Queens Drive) and turn right onto Muirhead Avenue – the car park entrance is at the next roundabout.
From the M57 – at Junction 4 of the M57 turn towards Liverpool (East Lancs Road, A580). At Dwerryhouse Lane turn left – the Car Park entrance is at the next roundabout.
From Liverpool City Centre – follow signs for the A580 then turn right onto Dwerryhouse Lane – the Car Park entrance is at the next roundabout.
For Satnav – use postcode L11 1EH (nearest to roundabout at Car Park entrance).
Disabled permit holders can park close to the Hall, using the Croxteth Hall Lane service entrance, L12 0HB (also signposted from the roundabout at the main car park).
Several bus routes pass by the Park. For information about bus numbers and timetables please contact Merseytravel 0871 200 2233.
The course is flat and mainly on paths with the exception of one section that is stone/trail.

The 10K is for running with a bit of walking/jogging if necessary.

This Winter Warmer Run is proud to support the charity Shelter and the goal is to help raise awareness and funds for them.
Fundraising is not mandatory however you are welcome to get sponsored or make a donation if you wish.
Children of all ages are allowed to take part. Please note that children remain the responsibility of their parents/guardian throughout the event. If the parent/guardian is satisfied the child/children can confidently run 5K or 10K unaccompanied they may do so, with a parent/guardian remaining onsite at all times.
