The Llangollen 50K

The town of Llangollen sits in the Dee Valley, and our route uses 2 way marked 15 mile linear routes (plus a little extra to gain the magic 50k!) either side of the river, to create a spectacular, challenging excursion in and above the valley. With a well marked course, 3 check points with feed stations and great faciltiies at the starting/finishing area, it'll be a great option for experienced racers at this distance, but also an ideal way to move into ULTRA Running for those less experienced. Rest assured, there will be plenty of walking for the great majority of participants, given the nature of some of the ascents, but it'll allow time to take in the amazing views around you and enjoy support and encouragement from fellow runners, that Ultra Distance is known for!
