The Loop - 20 Mile Run or Hike | 20 Mile Run

The Route starts on the beach at Broadsands Beach and follows the South West Coast Path across coves and through woodland to Brixham, you head around the harbour and marina and head on to Berry Head, still following the South West Coast Path you head to Kingswear on rollercoaster coastal trails, with the double dipper of Mansands and Scabbacombe Beaches in the middle, at Kingswear you now head inland into Hoodown Wood then Long Wood, passing on the outerskirts of Greenway you will get a glorious view down the River Dart, before heading through Galmpton and Churston and back to Broadsands and the finish line. Big Bespoke Medal and Sweet Treat at the finish! The Loop! has an 9 hour cut off. 3 Aid Stations on the route with water, coke, squash, flapjacks, crisps, nuts, pretzels, party rings, malt loaf and more! There is approx. 4000ft of ascent on the route. Navigation – The first 13.5 miles follow the South West Coast Path, so you will follow the SWCP Acorn Signs on this section, it is well marked and very easy to follow, keep the sea on your left, marshals will also be on this section where needed, after Kingswear the route will have our signage and marshals, however please note it is part of the mandatory kit to have the route map printed off or on your phone or watch, in case of any unforeseen issues.
