The Tour of Pendle is a category AL fell race held under FRA rules and insurance in late season over Pendle Hill and it’s adjoining moorlands in the south west Pennines.

This is an AL Fell Race, it is not a Long Distance Walk. Experience and navigational skills are required and local knowledge an advantage. Have a day out in summer and recce the route. Each runner must carry the following minimum equipment; waterproof whole body cover (with taped seams and integrated attached hood), hat, gloves, map of the route, compass (not electronic), whistle and emergency food.
