Brandon Country Park is in the very heart of the beautiful Thetford Forest.
There is a 6-hour event starting at 9am or a 4-hour event starting at 11am. Run as far as you can during the time, plus a little bit more if you're lucky. As long as you leave Base Camp by 5:59:59 you get to run another lap! Rest between laps then head out for more.
The 5.3K lap through the forest consists of gravel footpaths and some grassy areas - so a true multi-terrain course.
You may be completing your first official 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or even Ultra Marathon, or it may be your 100th or 1000th event!
With next to no navigation, no special kit requirements, an aid station every lap and straightforward logistics - this is ideal for going further than ever before.
There will be a bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race. Or if you choose the 'green' lucky dip option, you will choose from a selection of previous medals.
This event is part of Twas The Run Before Christmas.
A team discount may be available depending on numbers - simply get in touch for details.
Dogs on leads are usually allowed at the venue, but they are not allowed to run with you.
The suggestion is to wear road trainers, but depending on the weather before the event you may want to bring trails if you have them but not essential.
With Christmas looming, fancy dress is welcomed but is not compulsory.

There will be a marshal in the Car Park to assist you with your parking and direct you then onto the Race Registration. You will then proceed to the Race Registration area to collect your bib numbers.
Brandon Railway Station is 1.5miles (2.4km) away.
It is also just under 4 miles from Centre Parcs if you were thinking of making this race part of your break away.
The terrain consists of country park footpaths and grass areas. The suggestion is to wear road trainers, but depending on the weather before the event you may want to bring trail shoes if you have them but they are not essential.
You can expect well-stocked aid stations every 5km to 10km, depending on your chosen distance and these include crisps, chocolate, bananas etc.
6 hours.
This event is taking steps to be more sustainable:
Runners can buy a reuseable cup at the event.

Great run for first ultra. It was just about perfect setup for my first ultra. The fact you could stop and refuel after each lap was just what I needed. The organisers and marshals made you feel very welcome and gave lots of encouragement. Jon Brooker
Well organised, friendly and a very welcome cup of tea and great selection of cakes after! Anne Schumann
Wet, windy, cold but fun. The cake and tea was very welcome at the end. I’ll be back next year. Jon Gamble
