Refreshments
Please bring appropriate food and water for the distance you have chosen. Basic refreshments (fruit, snack bars and water refills) are provided at the planned aid stations along the 20, 15 and 10-mile distances. The Start/Finish at Castle Park will also have water refills, and there is an abundance of food and drink options surrounding Castle Park in the city centre.
Cut off time
Cut-off time for all event distances needs to be 18:00 (6pm) on event day. This means people taking on the 20-mile distance will need to complete it within 10 hours, which breaks down to needing to be able to walk each mile within 30 minutes max.
- Bring your own cup
The event will a 'cupless' one to reduce unnecessary waste, so please bring your own full drinking bottles. We will have water you can refill your bottles with at the start/finish, and then at additional locations out along the routes.
