Description

The route begins in Sandown, heading along the A307 to Cobham, then through back lanes to Ockham and East Clandon. After crossing the A246 onto Staple Lane, riders face the first climb, followed by a steep descent to the Shere By-pass, leading into Albury and Chilworth.

Continuing towards the Hogs Back, the route passes through Shalford and Peasmarsh, then turns west before ascending the ridge. It follows lower roads past vineyards, reaching Seale for the first pitstop. Next, it heads through Puttenham Common woods to Elstead. After crossing the A3 and Godalming, the route winds through Bramley and Wonersh, climbing the Green Sand Ridge at Farley Green and Albury Heath for the second pitstop.

Here, the Medium and Long routes merge before tackling the tough White Down climb. After crossing Ranmore Common, riders descend to Westhumble for the iconic Box Hill climb. Following the cycle path through the subway under the A24, they take Zig Zag Road to the summit for the final pitstop.

The route then descends through tree-lined roads, passing Headley and reaching Leatherhead, before returning to the finish at Sandown via Fetcham and Cobham.

About the charity

CBRE is proud to support Alzheimer’s Society, working together towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. Funds raised by the Great Property Bike Ride will go directly to help improve the lives of people living with dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society has been a powerful force for change for over 40 years, supporting those living with dementia and their families, funding critical research, and campaigning for change.

Dementia is complicated and difficult, but Alzheimer’s Society helps people to navigate the ever-evolving challenges of dementia with the right support, at the right time.

Fundraising for Alzheimer's Society

After signing up for The Great Property Bike Ride, you are encouraged to start fundraising!

Each rider is asked to raise or donate a minimum of £150 for this important cause. Please reach out to friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor you during your training.

The more is raised, the more the bike ride will help deliver meaningful support to people during their most challenging times, helping Alzheimer’s Society to be there for everyone living with dementia.
