48km
Starting from Sandown on the A307 towards Cobham, the short route follows the same path as the Long and Medium routes until Cobham. It then heads to Fetcham, tackling the first climb on Cobham Road. After Fetcham, the route winds up and over the North Downs via Chapel Road, descending into Westhumble. Cyclists should use the cycle path through the subway under the A24 to reach Zig Zag Road, which leads to the summit and pitstop.
The descent from Box Hill takes riders down tree-lined roads through Headley, arriving in Leatherhead. Finally, the route returns to Sandown via the same roads used outbound.
Avoiding Box Hill
44km
Instead of climbing to Box Hill summit, continue for 500 meters past the Box Hill turnoff onto Headley Lane. This path gently ascends while circling the base of Box Hill, eventually reconnecting with the route at the junction of Slough Lane and Church Lane.

Participants are required to bring a water bottle to refill at the stops.
