This immensely popular, festive event is a flat and fast seasonal 5 mile run along the Promenade, along an accurately measured course.
There are festive sweet treats on offer plus, of course, the famous mince pie welcome will be waiting for you at the finish. Suitable for experienced runners and beginners alike, this race enjoys joyous support and camaraderie among the runners.
Come dressed in appropriate Christmas dress to make Santa really proud and have a chance of winning the prize for the best dressed runner! This race whole heartedly supports festive frivolity and can't wait to cheer you across the finish line!

Located on the promenade, adjacent to Ness Road on the Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS3 9HG.
There is parking available adjacent to the Race HQ and along the promenade. Please take note of any local parking charges that may be applicable
The closest railway station is Thorpe Bay which is around 1 mile from the race HQ.
The Southend Rudolph Run comprises a single loop around the country park followed by an out and back section along the promenade.
This event is doing its best to work sustainably to ensure that the carbon footprint of the race is kept as low as possible.
