Wild Deer Trail Runs - Thoresby Park

The park has been in the Pierrepont Family for over 400 years and is home to a stunning 17th-century mansion, a world-renowned art collection, and over 1,000 acres of parkland. This magnificent estate has been the home of SBR Events for 9 years but the Longhorn in 2024 was their last event at the venue. We are delighted that we will be taking on the Trail Running here and will be hosting a 5k, 10k & 1/2 Marathon for our inaugural event in 2024. Ideal for runners of all fitness levels the Estate is fairly flat so the 5k & 10k will suit first timers to trail running or those wanting a step up from Parkrun. The 5k is for anyone over 11 years, the 10k and 1/2 marathon for anyone over 15 years. All finishers will get a medal, wild deer merchandise, a snack & a drink. We hope you can join us for what will be a wonderful day of Trail Running. Canicross are welcome and just complete a normal entry for their chosen distance. We will have a seperate start for all Canicross entrants. We also welcome Nordic Walkers to the Event and again just fill in a normal entry.
