The races take place within the picturesque setting of one of London's prettiest Royal Parks, the perfect setting for a pacy, traffic-free Sunday morning run.
The undulating course covers the tracks, trails and footpaths within the park and is suitable for runners of all abilities, with beginners particularly welcome. You will pass around various beautiful sections of the park, including through Sheen Wood and past the Teck Plantation. You will also race passed Bishops Pond and Richmond Gate. You may even be lucky enough to spot one of the many roaming herds of Red or Fallow Deer that have been known to watch the race with very great interest and amusement.

I really enjoyed this 10K, it was lovely to do it in Richmond Park (my first visit there)... It's quite a trek from where I live but if I were local I'd do it again. The medal is cute (a Christmas tree with a Santa picture on it) and it does have the race name on the back, but not the year. Katherine R
