This very popular 5 day annual walking festival usually consisting of 35 walks guided walks kicking off on the first Tuesday after the Easter Bank Holiday Monday. The festival is devised to showcase the stunning landscape, local food producers and rich heritage, there are more castles in Monmouthshire than anywhere else in Europe and the only hard decision we have to make are which walks we want to feature to entice you to visit our hidden gems such as breath taking views, ancient woodland, pretty villages, historic churches and majestic rivers to name to name just a few.
Chepstow is also known for its long waymarked trails being at the start/finish or near Offa’s Dyke Path, Wye Valley Walk, Gloucestershire Way and the Wales Coast Path and the newly devised Monmouthshire Way a circular route of 121 miles starting at Chepstow showcasing the Old Kingdom of Gwent.
All walks are led by experiened friendly walk leaders who either live or work in the area. Its an opportunity to catch up with friends or make some news ones. Tickets are £5 per single ticket with under 16's free accompanied by an adult.
