Mental Health UK

Helping Mental Health UK to support the nation’s mental health.

Mental Health UK draws upon the local expertise of it's four founding charities across the UK, who help deliver projects that are tailored to an area's specific needs.

That's why all the money raised through GLOW Edinburgh will fund services delivered in Scotland by one of the founding charities, Change Mental Health. They provide transformational support for people, ensuring that everyone has access to the support they need, when they need it, in a way that works for them. The money you raise will also help to change societal attitudes, fight stigma and influence government, to ensure a better life for those affected by mental illness.

Children

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Children (age 17 and under) do not need to fundraise, but getting your family together to support your fundraising efforts can be a fun and rewarding experience!

I liked the idea of walking in the evening with a few glowing accessories on me.. of walking through London and discovering new routes which allowed me to see many iconic places.. of testing my resilience to see if I could walk 20K (something I’ve never done).. of being part of a crowd who have compassion and understanding of mental health issues. Kiran, GLOW participant 2022

I enjoyed seeing my fundraising increase on a weekly basis, the events that I organised pushed me out of my comfort zone, I talked to people about Mental Health in a way that I would never have done otherwise. Louise Greenwood, Lloyds Banking Group

I was totally elated when I crossed the line and so glad I’d given it a go! Helen Taylor

Mental Health UK was a friendly partner to have. I received lots of motivational encouragement via email which maybe doesn’t sound like much but knowing people are rooting for you really helps. Richard Gray
