It was an honour to walk in solidarity and together raise awareness and promote the importance of mental health. Completing the walk was rewarding in a way that helped me feel good mentally, physically and boosted my self-esteem as I felt I had a purpose in contributing to such an important movement. Manisha, GLOW 2023
I liked the idea of walking in the evening with a few glowing accessories on me.. of walking through London and discovering new routes which allowed me to see many iconic places.. of testing my resilience to see if I could walk 20K (something I’ve never done).. of being part of a crowd who have compassion and understanding of mental health issues. Kiran, GLOW participant 2022
I enjoyed seeing my fundraising increase on a weekly basis, the events that I organised pushed me out of my comfort zone, I talked to people about Mental Health in a way that I would never have done otherwise. Louise Greenwood, Lloyds Banking Group
I was totally elated when I crossed the line and so glad I’d given it a go! Helen Taylor
Mental Health UK was a friendly partner to have. I received lots of motivational encouragement via email which maybe doesn’t sound like much but knowing people are rooting for you really helps. Richard Gray
