Much Wenlock Triathlon

Many of you who have taken part in this race in the past will remember the challenging bike and run courses (this is no ordinary Sprint) and this year the race will be chip timed! The 400m swim (16lengths) will be held at the William Brookes leisure centre pool, but there will be a change to the bike and run routes this year. The 19K bike starts in T1 at the leisure centre and heads down to Buildwas, heading East to Leighton then south through Cressage. Here we will take on the challenging section of the bike route up to Sheinton before rejoining the main Farley Road to Much Wenlock Leisure Center. The run route will change this year on leaving T2 at the Leisure centre, the run will then take on laps of the Gaskell and Windmill. Each lap is set to be a challenge, walk the hill or run it.  It's just a short sharp hill. Many chances to cheer people on and chase down your team mates.
