Event overview
When you are nearly there! OMG - One Mile 2 Go
There is a 6-hour event starting at 9am or a 4-hour event starting at 11am. Run as far as you can during the time, plus a little bit more if you're lucky. As long as you leave Base Camp by 5:59:59 you get to run another lap! Rest between laps then head out for more.
The 5.3K lap through the forest consists of gravel footpaths and some grassy areas - so a true multi-terrain course.
You may be completing your first official 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or even Ultra Marathon, or it may be your 100th or 1000th event!
With next to no navigation, no special kit requirements, an aid station every lap and straightforward logistics - this is ideal for going further than ever before.
There will be a bespoke medal for the event, which you will receive at the end of the race. Or if you choose the 'green' lucky dip option, you will choose from a selection of previous medals.
This event is part of OMG (One Mile 2 Go) Run.

A good fun day out rolling around in the mud!!! John W
Muddy and great fun. Had a fab day, the course was very scenic and the weather was perfect for running in. Very muddy in places but to be expected this time of the year.Great friendly organisers as always. Thank you ZigZag for putting on another fab event β Joanna S
Mudfest. Cold Start, turned out to be a nice, dry & sunny day. But, conditions under foot were definitely a challenge. Plenty of mud and/or water patches along the ‘undulating’ route. Well marked directions, very well marshalled and a fantastic drink & feed station at the end of each lap. Four for a half marathon. Simon S
Amazing. OMG at hinchingbrook is local to me, the mud can be horrendous but you have so much fun with all the other runners you forget about it. Michael F
Always good events. Tony A
