Runningmonk Mid Summer 5K

After the success of the New Years Day 5k, Runningmonk Trail Events have decided to introduce a summer version of this event, as we loved seeing so many of you enter with family and friends, having a great time. The 5k will be the reverse of the NYD 5k, starting and finishing at The Church Barn, Bishop's Castle, and will take you along the Shropshire Way and the adjoining trails. There will be stiles to navigate, brooks to cross, and a sting in the tail, as you wander up the dingle towards the finish line. This event is open to all ages and abilities and is suitable for everyone; from those new to running, to those experienced runners. Also, with the added bonus of having no cut off time, the pressure is off, meaning you can run your own race and enjoy the route at your own pace. There will be chip timing by the brilliant Ready Set Go timing and a finishers medal for all, so round up all of your family and friends, and don't forget the dog too, as this event is all inclusive.
