This will be the eighth year the Hatters Half is staged, with the race starting at Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County FC.

The scenic route joins the Trans Pennine Trail at Woolpack Bridge and follows the River Mersey to Northenden, forming a loop at Ford Lane and Boat Lane in Northenden, then returning to the finish in Alexandra Park, Edgeley.
