The 40th running of the The Hanney 5 is held over a fast and flat rural course, ideally suited for a 5 mile pb.

It is a well marshalled and easy-to-follow single lap of five miles, finishing on the sports field behind the Hanney village hall. The start is adjacent to the village hall, where there is ample parking; refreshments and changing facilities are available inside the hall. Entries on the day are welcomed, with no restriction on prizes. This race is part of the Oxfordshire road race grand prix series.
