The Maverick Exposure Lights Dark Oxfordshire

If you enjoy trail running in the daylight then you are in for a real treat running in the dark! It's an amazing experience; your senses are heightened, you immerse yourself deep in the surroundings, with your head torch on the trails streak past you at warp speed, and you concentrate on making that perfect foot placement so as not to take a tumble. Starting and finishing in Stonor Park, which is split by the River Thames and nestled in the Chiltern Hills, this location can only be described as quintessential middle England. We love the Oxfordshire Original Series event, so it was only fitting that we experience this area at night. The 3 routes are all set in the estate which is home to fallow deer and wallabies... yep, we have actually seen a wallaby there! All the routes are relatively challenging and with 3 to choose from, there is something for everyone. Please note, there is no outpost on the Short route. Make sure you end the season strong and put this Dark Series event in your calendar as it's going to be a corker!....... And remember - The Darkness Awaits... Unfortunately you will not be able to take part with your dog during our Dark Series events.
